New Israel Fund supports programs in Israel addressing Civil and Human
Rights
, Social and Economic Justice, Religious Pluralism, and more.
Among the organizations under the umbrella of NIF is Shatil (an
organization with offices throughout Southern Israel established
primarily to reach out to disempowered populations in Israel’s
periphery), giving them important information about rights and
procedures during this conflict. Shatil is also supporting Arab and
Jewish students promoting coexistence in the Negev—something
particularly difficult in such tense times. http://www.nif.org
